Shipping Policy – rookies

At Rookies Cookies, we are committed to delivering your delicious treats cookies, desserts, coffee, ice cream, and drinks fresh, fast, and in perfect condition. Please read our shipping policy to understand how we process, package, and deliver your orders.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been received and another once it has been shipped.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

All major cities and states within Nigeria
Local deliveries are available within the area covered by our delivery partners.

International shipping is not available at this time.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery time depends on your location:

Lagos (Same City / Mainland & Island): 24–48 hours
Other States: 3–5 business days
Remote Areas: 5–7 business days

Please note: Ice cream and cold beverages are available only for locations where cold-chain delivery is supported.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

Delivery location
Order weight and category (especially for cold items)

You will see the final shipping fee before placing your order.

5. Delivery of Perishable Items

Many of our products including cookies, desserts, ice cream, and coffee are perishable. To ensure maximum freshness:

All items are packaged using industry-standard food-safe materials.
Cold items are delivered using insulated packaging or cold-chain logistics where available.
Customers must be available to receive their goods at the selected delivery address.

Rookies Cookies is not responsible for spoilage due to missed deliveries or delays caused by customers.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

A tracking number (if applicable)
A link or instructions to track your delivery through our logistics partner

7. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues

Please double-check your delivery details before placing an order.

Rookies Cookies will not be responsible for:

Delays caused by incorrect shipping details
Additional fees for redelivery
Failed deliveries where the customer is unreachable

8. In-Store Pickup (If Applicable)

If you prefer, you may choose pickup at checkout. Once your order is ready, you will be notified to come for collection during business hours.

9. Shipping Restrictions

Ice cream and frozen items may not be shipped to distant or unsupported locations.
Certain drinks may be unavailable for delivery during extreme weather conditions.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
